Yes unless you elect to order the power company to disconnect your service ( which would require a reconnection fee) any way all that hS nothing to do with the land lord if you deal directly with the service company. It is your choice who pays and collects from others. (My advice is to collect in advance, well in advance). brace yourselves, living on earth does cost money, time to grow up.
