How can I open an account in any Irish bank without a proof of?
I'd not advice you to carry 7,000 in cash in Dublin, Ireland. Opening a bank account without a proof of address isn't possible in Ireland. There are two ways you can avoid the hassle of carrying large sums of cash. Get a Forex card from your own country and use it in Ireland. Almost all vendors in Dublin accept card transactions ( a few have limitations using under 5, 10 for saving transaction charges). Once you get your proof of address, you can lodge the money to your bank account. Open an online bank account at Number26 (Home (ie) - NUMBER26 ). This allows you to open a bank account remotely in Ireland. I'm unsure if it requires proof of address, since its online and just needs one to send your MasterCard to. Hope this helps.
