Will my credit card utilization calculated based on billed?
If you are talking about the total credit utilization reported to a Credit information report, it is calculated based on the billed outstanding divided by the summation of total credit card(s) limit you have. Total utilization of about 30% is supposed to be healthy, anything above it may be a red signal for the credit agencies. Do keep that in mind. However, do note that it is considered good to overshoot that 30% mark sometimes, maybe once or twice in a year, just to show that you are willing to spend more on the available limit from banks and in turn, they may provide you upgrades and credit limit enhancements. Just make sure you dont default on the Full Payments of any of the cards held. Hope that helps.
