Is cable considered a utility bill?
My household gets a bill for: Electricity Refuse removal water Sewage and , in the past, gas. Your neighborhood may get heating oil These are utilities. My additional regular monthly household expenses are " entertainment food insurance clothing telephony vehicle payments maintenance In the past cable and satellite were considered luxuries, not utilities. The definition is starting to change as some services are provided by default as part of household services. Some neighborhoods are getting fibre-to-the-home and this will be, like cable, able to provide entertainment as well as communication. In gated communities it may be part of the 'levy' and you may not get a choice whether or not to use it. Now it starts to look like a utility.
