I'm a Filipino student and planning to move out of my parents' house.?

The amount of money needed to live life independently in the Philippines depends on several factors. For one, moving out to the big city, like Metro Manila, will no doubt cost you a lot of money. Over there, the cheapest places to live as a single guy would be the single room rentals or so-called living spaces, that are usually managed by dormitories, will average at least P2,000-P5,000 a month per person subject to certain house rules such as not being allowed to do certain things and imposing some form of curfews. And additionally at this rate, you will have to share the places bathroom, CR and other basic amenities, with the other occupants of the place. Some tips to consider should you still insist in living out on your own: make sure that you have the means to spend for the stay, which will not be easy if you decided to live in a big city. This usually means that you should get a part time job while studying in order to cope, or being very watchful for opportunities to make money, such as doing freelancing and other online related jobs. While having this mindset will greatly strengthen your decision making and survival skills, it should be undertaken with a lot of study and plan Bs in order that youll avoid certain inconveniences, like the worst in this case is having to be a vagrant living on the sidewalks from time to time because all of your resources are used up.
