How much would be a utility bill in Oklahoma City each month?

Ill update this with actual numbers when I can look at our bills, but let me just say this: Your utility bill is going to be whatever the utility company tells you it is and, half the time, its going to be wrong. Seriously: My wife and I just moved to Oklahoma City and our gas bill has been a nightmare since day one. Theyve overcharged us almost every month, and each month weve had to call them and sit on the phone until they realized: Oh, youre right. Our mistake. It seems weve [over-billed you] [put you on the incorrect plan] [lost your payment from last month]. Well correct it for you. Again. So although I dont have numbers to give you right now, this is my advice: Do NOT sign up for paperless billing or automatic payments. Watch every bill you get from them and dont assume its correct because, Well, theyre the professionals. They will overcharge you just because they can. I dont know whether its intentional or just negligence, but all I can say is that it does happen on a pretty consistent basis. So if your bill seems too high, it probably is. Look at the charges. Make sure they make sense. If they dont, dont be afraid to call and ask about it. And only pay once youre certain youve been charged the correct amount Because getting money back from them after they made (another) mistake is a whole other nightmare. Edit: This is specifically about the gas and electric company, OG&E.
