How do you prove address residency to DMV if you are a student living?

A2A I can only speak for the US. Looking at your profile, not sure if this is a hypothetical, but this can help others anyway! Go on the website for the state you are in and see what are acceptable forms of identification. You are only able to get a license where you have established permanent residency. Attending school out of state does not count as permanent residency if you do not have the intention of remaining in that state after college. Do you have a mailing address at your parents home in that state or wherever you reside when not in the dorms? Is that the state you are seeking your license in? If so, do you have a bank statement or auto insurance cards, policy or health insurance info, or anything like that for your home mailing address? Student loan documents? Otherwise, contact them and explain the situation.
