How do you manage your bills ?

My electric bills I usually pay at the local store. Wal-Mart charges me $0.70 to do it and if I mailed it I would have the cost of checks which would be the only reason I would have a checks for and a stamp. I have them staple the receipt to the bill and when I get home I have a big envelope I put them in. The only reason I keep more than a couple of months worth is to keep track of how much power I used. The telephone I pay on line and and they email me an acknowledgement of the payment. The receipt for the tires for my van I recently purchased is in my glove compartment. If it was a big store purchase where I needed to save the receipt I have a drawer in a stand for important papers. Ive at times keep file folders in a filing cabinet. That works well. Anything Ive ever purchased on line I get an email usually confirming the purchase and then confirming the shipment. I just dump them into a folder. If it was a big purchase Ill forward it to another email address I use to safe keeping. I have multiple gmail and yahoo addresses.
